Former Vice President Dick Cheney will appear on the Move America Forward telethon-style broadcast to support American troops deployed in the War on Terror....

...Cheney, also a former Secretary of Defense, has been a prominent voice on military and national security topics throughout his career.  He recently gave a major address at the American Enterprise Institute which coincided with a speech by President Obama, which many saw as a reaction to Cheney’s recent public appearances.

MAF Announces 2nd Annual Troopathon

Move America Forward

On June 25th, 2009, Move America Forward, the nation’s largest grassroots pro-troop organization, will be hosting its 2nd annual “Troop-a-thon”.  The event will be hosted by megablogger Michelle Malkin, Melanie Morgan from San Francisco’s KSFO Hot Talk Radio and Andrew Breitbart, who runs Breitbart.TV, “Big Hollywood” blog.

A wide array of Hollywood celebrities, musicians, TV and radio personalities, journalists, and members of the military have already agreed to participate in the project.  Some notables include President George H. W. Bush, Jon Voight, Kevin Farley, Laura Ingraham, and Mark Levin, just to name a few.
